Whoopie (Pies)! School is Done!

Phew! It's finally summer - no more homework to grade, no more lessons to plan, no more whiny 1st graders, no more cute 1st graders...but plenty of time for baking!

To celebrate the end of the school year, the teachers had a potluck lunch. Of course, I signed up to bring dessert. I decided to bring some whoopie pies. Since the ones I had made before turned out so giant, this time I wanted to try to make some mini whoopies.

These ones are S'mores whoopie pies: graham whoopies with marshmallow fluff and chocolate frosting. Mmmm...

The One With Sprinkle Cake Pops

Is is my imagination, or do these kind of look like the ones they are selling at Starbucks these days?

The one with the pink pearl sprinkles especially, right?

And since they were for a bake sale at a church event, we even packaged them up pretty to sell.

Yes, that is a colander they are sitting in, but don't they look cute?

Makes me wish we hadn't sold them all at the bake sale!
